In this Consent for Reporting your rent payments with Bright the words “you” and “your” mean any person giving consent to our use of electronic records and signatures as described below. The words “we,” “us” and “our” mean Bright Capital, Inc. d/b/a Bright Money, its representatives, successors and assigns, and its designated agents and service providers.
Bright’s rent reporting policy encapsulates consent, application and verification of a user to be eligible for reporting to credit bureaus
Consent - Under this policy, Bright will not report for you if you have not agreed to this policy.
Application - Bright requires you to fill in the details to be considered for verification. These details include but are not limited to
a) Current rental address
b) Rent amount per month
c) Move-in date to the current rental address
d) Lease end date for the current rental address
e) Landlord name
f) A copy of the lease for the current rental address
g) Connecting bank account with Bright where you pay rent from
h) Selecting your rent transaction in the Bright app
Failing to provide any or all of these will make a user ineligible for reporting. Bright may reach out to you via email or phone to acquire further details
Verification - Upon completion of application, Bright will conduct a verification check of the user and their rental payments. If the user does not provide details required for verification, Bright has the right to disqualify them for reporting
